hadith_unreliable_hell_temporaryQuestion:
What do the scholars say regarding the following issues:

1) There are some people in our area who hold the aqeedah that all the ahadith present in these times cannot be trusted upon and should be burnt.

2) They also hold the aqeedah that Jannah is everlasting but Jahannum is temporary and after a while all the mushrikeen and kuffaar will enter Jannah. They derive the evidence from the hadith Inna Rahmatee Sabaqat Ghadhbee (Verily my mercy superceeds my anger). They also use Mawlana Shibli Nu’mani’s book “Seeratun Nabi” to corrupt the minds of the layman.

Please advice whether their aqeedah is in accordance to the shari’ah or not?

Is Tawassul Shirk

duaIntroduction

In this day and age when Muslims are being attacked by people of almost all faiths, it is quite sad and disturbing that Muslims are busy attacking each other. Why is it that we, who belong to the Ummah of Muhammad ﷺ, have fallen so low that we take not a second before declaring each other of being from those who practice shirk or kufr?

Our internal issues should be our internal issues and differences amongst the Ummah should be dealt with in a civilized manner. It is no wonder why we, the Muslim nation, cannot today stand on our feet and hold firm our ground and voice for our rights in the international community.

Sky“He (Allah Most High) then firmly established (istawa) Himself over the Throne” (Qur’an 7:54) means He firmly established Himself over the Kingly Throne and began decreeing orders (ahkams) in the heavens and the earth. In the tafsir (exegesis) of [the verse] “He then firmly established Himself over the Throne”, it is safer to adopt silence in agreement with the methodology of the salaf (pious predecessors) and that is also my view although the muta’akhirin (scholars of the later generations) have opened the doors for ta’wil (interpretation).
